We offer first class, high quality, five star accommodation in beautiful surroundings at very competitive prices.

The rates  are fully inclusive and include:

  • Full use of the barn (1 or 2 bedrooms)
  • Full central heating and hot water.
  • All electricity.
  • All bedding, sheets, quilts and extra blankets if you need them.
  • Plenty of towels.
  • Complimentary toiletries.
  • Washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, cleaning cloths, toilet rolls and kitchen roll.
  • Use of the solid fuel fire - which burns wood and/or smokeless fuel (provided)
  • Broadband internet access (Wi-Fi - just bring your own laptop)
  • Welcome Pack of Provisions - Fair Trade - (To get you started on your first day)
  • 42" LCD TV. DVD, 'B & O' Hi Fi and CD player (plus TV's in both bedrooms)
  • A good selection of DVDs / Books / Games
  • Local maps and guides
  • Derbyshire Life magazine and/or a local weekly paper
  • Garden, Lawn and outside seating - just for your use

  • Off road parking for 1 car - if you need to bring two cars please let us know so that we can make room.

The barn can sleep a maximum of 4. If your party is larger please contact us as we may be able to help.

Children of all ages are welcome. We don't have a cot (most guests prefer to bring their own travel cot) but there is a high chair available.

Book early for peak season dates - Christmas, Bank holidays and School holidays are always very popular.

Visitors from Overseas - We are delighted to welcome visitors from overseas - the barn is an ideal location to use as a base for exploring the U.K. If you are planning to attend the Olympic Games in 2012 why not extend your stay and see some of the real english countryside! We can offer help organising itineries, providing hire cars and arranging transfers to and from airports.

Business Customers -If you are working locally and require accommodation please enquire about our special long term business rates for Monday to Friday bookings and also 7 night accommodation.

Getting Married at Hardwick Hall or Bolsover Castle? - If you require accommodation before or after the wedding for guests or the bride and groom please ring to discuss your requirements.

 
Prices and Availability

Please check the charts below, the first chart shows the price for a maximum of two using all the barn but only one bedroom, the second chart shows the price for a maximum of four using all the barn and both ensuite bedrooms. So if you only need one bedroom the other one is locked off to save on heating and cleaning - and the savings are passed onto you with a lower rate. You can choose either the loft en-suite with two single beds - 6' headroom, or the ground floor en-suite with a double bed.

We also have a folding bed which can be used in addition to the above - please ask for further details.

Short Breaks - Short breaks of any length between 2 and 6 nights are available for most of the year excluding July/August/Christmas

Longer Stays - If you need accommodation for longer than two weeks (If you are moving house, having your house renovated etc) we can offer special rates, please ring to discuss your requirements.
